Honored to be selected as 2025 Fellow of Science Communication Identities Project. Looking forward to exciting year with the cohort
Meet the 2024 class of SciComm Identities Project fellows!

Blessed to have an amazing team representing the lab well at ASA-SSSA-CSSA 2024.
Several “Proud PI” moments as @u_d_i_t___19 got first prize for poster presentation (precision irrigation project) and second prize (yield prediction project); Nishadini Widanagamage got third prize for ...poster (soil microbe and water use project); @beatz_official_ got third prize for poster presentation (multidecadal climate impacts on alfalfa production project). Kudos to all the hard work team has put up to share science with peers.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and provided valuable feedback on these preliminary projects.
Trisocieties for the books. So proud of my amazing team for the engagement and for grabbing awards for their presentations. #precisionagriculture
We love days when we get to go out and share with the world what we do in our lab. While Nishadini, Sourajit and Sindhu went out and shared their research for KSU Research and the State, Udit shared his work with the agronomists in the department. More to share in November!
DART well represented at AI Symposium 2024 by @u_d_i_t___19 and @beatz_official_
Thank you @VerisTech for letting our @CHSInc funded Smart Farm Challenge first cohort to visit your facility and learn about precision soil mapping and great applications for farm management. @AnitaDille
Words are simply not enough for this badass intern who joined the team and supported the team grow from its inception. Thank you @klocklucas for patiently hanging with us and supporting the team on our journey from having a no name to becoming “DART”; journey from 0 sensors to lab full of new ...equipments and helping us figure out what to do with it. It is rare to see undergrad interns like Lucas as he not only honed his skillsets but also designed his own research project thinking about grad schools, training new grad students and helping them with projects, passionate to learn and ever ready to support any member at any time in the lab and beyond; bringing in new collaborations and project ideas; developing protocols to stay forever for future DARTs. Thank you for all you have done to help us grow.
Happy FriYay for the DARTs. It was a pleasure to have Susan Metzger join our team meeting today and share all the valuable connections water can bring. It could not be better when Ray Flickner from Flickner Innovation Farm joins the room.
